InfoQ: About weaknesses with collective code ownership

InfoQ talks about some problems with collective code ownership (CCO). The Code Stewardship seems to be a good compromise between CCO and Individual Code Ownership.

Seems to me that this "Code Stewardship" is almost exactly the kind of compromise we have been aiming at; we just haven't called it that.
